Jennie Carol Israel

Mrs. Jennie Carol Israel, 70, of Rincon, GA, formerly of Gainesville, GA, has gone to be with Jesus. She left this earth on Thursday, February 16, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Clark will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Sunday February 19, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on May 16, 1952 in Gainesville, GA she was the daughter of the late Jim Holland and Lorene Annie Adams Knight.  Mrs. Israel attended Fellowship Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Jim and Lorene Knight, Mrs. Israel was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Sims and husband, Thomas Israel.

Mrs. Israel is survived by her daughters, Aletha Elrod of Rincon, GA, Allison Grannis and Rob Curly of Denver, CO, April and Chris Carson of Chattanooga, TN; granddaughters, Hannah LaCount of Rincon GA, Sarah Elrod of Rincon, GA; grandsons, Alex and Jessie Phillips-Grannis of Jackson Hole, WY, Will and Brittany Carson of Chattanooga, TN; sister, Vicki Knight of Gainesville, GA and a number of other loving relatives.
