John Patrick Shelley

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. John Patrick Shelley, age 63, of Hartwell, Georgia who entered rest Tuesday February 14, 2023. Mr. Shelley was born in Anniston, Alabama the son of the late Patrick Francis Shelley and the late Ina Delores Carson Shelley. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Anastasia Shelley.

Mr. Shelley worked as a truck driver for AmeriGas and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hartwell, Georgia.

Survivors include his son, Clay Shelley (Susanne) of Marietta, GA. Two grandchildren, Lillianne and Adeline Shelley of Marietta, GA. Sister, Ellen Wright (Weyman) of Loganville, GA.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday February 25, 2023 at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Father Avery officiating. The family will receive friends from 1P.M. until time of service at 2 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home.
