Bernice Terry Puckett

Bernice Terry Puckett, age 93, of Suwanee, GA passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Ray Puckett; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Terry; sister, Thelma McDaniel brothers, Herman, Raymond, Edwin, Alvin, and Thurman Terry. Mrs. Puckett is survived by daughter, Linda Puckett Atkins (Joe) of Buford, GA; son, Lewis Puckett of Ellijay, GA; grandchildren, Dana and Paul Yoon of Clarkston, GA, Michelle and Juan Mayorga of Jefferson, GA; great grandchild, Micah Mayorga; brother-in-law, Larry and Brenda Puckett of Sugar Hill, GA; sister-in-law, Judy Puckett Martin of Buford; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Mrs. Puckett was born on May 3, 1929 in Sugar Hill, GA and was a lifelong resident of Suwanee, GA. She was the last of the seven children of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Terry. She was a graduate of Suwanee School and was a homemaker. Mrs. Puckett was a charter member of Shadowbrook Baptist Church in Suwanee. She enjoyed cooking and being outdoors, and she loved her family. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Linkous officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 19 from 2:00 p.m. until time for the service at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
