Gloria Dean Pass Burton

Gloria Dean Pass Burton, age 92, of Norcross, GA, formerly of Sugar Hill, GA, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Billy T. Burton; parents, Robert F. and Hessie Westbrook Pass; sisters, Helen Bagwell, Lucy Harris, Evelyn Albertson, and Louise Ballew; brothers, Harold Pass, Franklin Pass, George Pass, Elbert Pass and Samuel Pass.  She is survived by her children, Angela Louise Burton, Athens, GA, Philip (Lisa) Burton, Lula, GA, Edward Burton, Sugar Hill, GA; 4 grandchildren, Molly Burton, Andrea (Steven) Olsommer, Adam Burton, Cliff (Ellie) Burton; 2 great-grandchildren, Lian Burton, Maggie Burton; sister-in-law, Barbara Sudderth Pass, Buford, GA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mrs. Burton was born on March 1, 1931 in Sugar Hill, GA.  She was a 1949 graduate of Sugar Hill High School, Sugar Hill, GA.  She was a homemaker and also a bookkeeper for The Lovable Company, Atlanta, GA.  Mrs. Burton was a member of Norcross First Baptist Church, Norcross, GA.  She was the last child of 10 children of the Late Robert and Hessie Westbrook Pass.  A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 19, 2023 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA with Rev. David Simpson officiating.  A Private Interment will be held at Peachtree Memorial Gardens, Norcross, GA.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 19, 2023 prior to the Service at the Funeral Home.  In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to Campus Cats or The Alzheimer’s Association.
