Robert “Bobby” Sterling Hazlegrove

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Robert “Bobby” Sterling Hazlegrove, age 73, of Bethlehem, Georgia who entered rest Wednesday February 15, 2023. Mr. Hazlegrove was born in Hopewell, Virginia the son of the late Samuel Richard Hazlegrove and the late Mildred Marcia White Hazlegrove. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel Richard Hazlegrove Jr.

Mr. Hazlegrove was a retired custodial supervisor working for Owings Mills Mall and was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church, Hartwell, Georgia.

Survivors include two sisters, Marion Martin (George Ronnie) of Richmond, Texas and Donna Neuerburg of Richmond, Texas. Brother, Donald Hazlegrove Sr (Dessa) of Bethlehem, GA. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and his five fur babies.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday February 17, 2023 at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Richard Cathy officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Church Cemetery. Honored as pallbearers are Samuel Looney, Michelle Looney, Holleigh Looney, Hunter Looney, Donovan White and Michael Edwards. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, February 16, 2023 from 5PM until 7PM at Evans Funeral Home.
