Janet Green Goodman

Janet Green Goodman “AKA Meme”, age 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 9, 2023. She was born June 11, 1933, in Flowery Branch, GA to the late Harold and Katherine Green. She had lived in Hall County since 1969 and retired from the Bell-Minor nursing home where she worked for a number of years and was a phenomenal cook!

Meme was a devoted mother and grandmother to all, and she gave us her love, beauty, and memories that will forever live in our hearts.

Survivors include her sons David Goodman Jr., Lawrenceville, GA and Craig Goodman, Gainesville, GA. Son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Laura Goodman, Peachtree City, GA. Daughter and son-in-law Alisha and John Browning. Grandchildren, Tyler Goodman, Libby Goodman, McKenzie Filaski, Emma Browning, Mattie Browning, Kinsley Goodman, Karis Goodman, great grandson Roman Filaski and all her many cherished recipes.

Visitation will be held on Sunday February 19, 2023, at 12:00pm at Little-Davenport Funeral home, 355 Dawsonville Hwy Gainesville, GA 30501. Followed by a graveside service at 2:00pm on Sunday February 19, 2023, at Alta Vista Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Ronnie Green Heart Center, 743 Spring St. Gainesville, GA 30501.
