Larry William “Too Tall” Jones

Mr. Larry William “Too Tall” Jones, 80, of Clermont, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Billy Emmett and Rev. Kevin Woody will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Born on May 5, 1942 in Cleveland, he was the son of the late William Clayton and Emma Louise Jones. He was retired from Ford Motor Company where he was an inspector and he also owned Too Tall’s Car Care in Clermont Mr. Jones was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Jones and Michael Jones.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Betty McClure Jones of Clermont; daughters and sons in law, Becky and Tim Martin of Cleveland, Pam and Eddie Pierce of Cleveland; grandchildren, Christina Crisp of Cleveland, Sara and Brandon Asherbranner of Clarkesville, Nolan Pierce of Cleveland; great granddaughter, Taylor Crisp of Cleveland; brothers and sisters in law, Bobby and Joyce Jones of Gainesville, Randall and Louise Jones of Gainesville, and a number of other loving relatives.
