Anna Thigpen, age 81 of Buford, GA died Saturday, February 11, 2023. Funeral service will be held Monday, February 13, 2023 at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel at 4:00 PM. Pastor Chuck Allen will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Anna was preceded in death by her Husband, Benny Thigpen and Daughter Cheri Friend. She is survived by her Children, Angela Camp (Alan) of Hoschton, GA, Julie Thigpen of Atlanta, GA, and Rusty Thigpen (Dina) of Suwanee, GA. Grandchildren, Stephanie Beane, Timothy Camp, Laurin Friend, Morgan Friend, Kristen Thigpen, and Madison Thigpen. Great Grandchildren, Ella Clarke, Nicholas Clarke, Tripp Kendall, and Luke Kendall. Sister, Peggy Bradow (Vic) of O’Brien, FL and her Cat Shadow. Anna moved to the Atlanta area in 1980. She was retired from Jerry Brown Chevrolet and was a member of Sugar Hill Church.
