Joseph “Joe” Franklin Pace

Mr. Joseph “Joe” Franklin Pace, age 62 of Toccoa passed away Friday, February 3, 2023 at the Stephens County Hospital.

A son of the late Melvin and Christine Thacker Pace, he was born June 28, 1960 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life.  He was employed with Coats and Clark for a number of years and later with American Heritage Furniture.  He was a member of Tom’s Creek Baptist Church.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Dean in 2022.

Survivors include his brother, Michael Pace of Eastanollee; nieces and their spouses, Jodi and Brian Coker and Susan and Jeff Ledford both of Eastanollee; a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.

Graveside services Friday, February 10, 2023, 2 o’clock p.m. at Tom’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with The Reverend Bill Stacey officiating.
