Mrs. Pauline Whitworth Cole Norris, age 85 of Indian Drive, Eastanollee, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023 at St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital, Lavonia.
A daughter of the late Paul and Beulah Stovall Whitworth, she was born October 5, 1937 in Franklin County, Georgia having lived in Franklin and Stephens Counties most of her life. She was retired from Toccoa Casket Company with a number of years of service and was a member of Eastanollee Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Family was most important in her life. She was very independent and strong willed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Milton Cole and by her second husband, Haskell Norris, by her brothers, Furman Whitworth, Shelton Whitworth, Charles Whitworth, Dizzie Whitworth and Denver Whitworth and by her sisters, Elnorie Holbrooks, Dollie Mae Mosley and Beatty Farmer.
Survivors include a daughter, Renee Norris Bowen of Toccoa; son and daughter-in-law, Grady and Tammy Cole of Lavonia; grandchildren, Kaysie Bowen, J.T. Bowen and Brandi Glass; great-grandchildren, Cole Glass and Maeleigh Glass; brother, Carl Whitworth of Hartwell, Georgia; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda Whitworth, Wynell and Ben Price and Jeanette and Clendon Bagwell all of Lavonia; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 4, 2023, 2 o’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Jeffrey Harper officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, J.T. Bowen, David McCurley, Steve McCurley, Carl James, Ken Norris and Curtis Glass.

Interment will follow in the Franklin Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Pauline Whitworth Norris.
