Billy Robert Clark

Billy Robert Clark, age 75, originally from Gainesville, Georgia passed away in Andrews, North Carolina after an extended illness.

Billy was born on October 3, 1947 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Mr. Elmer and Mrs. Maxine (Withrow) Clark. He was a member and preacher at Cool Springs Baptist Church. Billy took great enjoyment in his service to the Murrayville Masonic Lodge 30, earning the 33 Degree affiliation. Many weekends were spent participating in Lanier Shrine Club parades and fundraising for Shriner’s Hospitals. He was a fun guy to be around, always making jokes and keeping people laughing. 

Billy was a devoted husband to his late wife Brenda Clark; he is also proceed in death by his above mentioned parents; daughter, Tracy Clark; and brother, Randell Clark. He was a good father to his children, Robert and wife, Janice Clark; Sheila Clark; and Mike and wife, Sarah Clark; as well as a proud grandfather to  Christa Hulsey, Andrew Clark, Tracy Clark, and Rose Clark; great grandfather to Austin and Katelyn Hulsey; brother to Michael and his wife, Ko Clark; sister Debbie Clark; and leaves a host of friends and extended family.

Visitation: Thursday, January 26, 2023, 4:00-8:00PM at Banister-Cooper Funeral Home

Funeral services will be held Saturday January 28, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Cool Springs Baptist Church.  Rev. Ricky Stone and Rev. Darin Cain will officiate. Interment will follow in the Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites.  The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Friday January 27, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
