Melba Bowen Brock

Mrs. Melba Bowen Brock, age 64 of Royston, GA passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.  Mrs. Brock was born in Athens, GA to the late, Roy Siemon and Dorothy Brenda Thomas Garrett Bowen.  She was employed at Brown Health and Rehab as a CAN.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brock was also preceded in death by her husband, Richey Carey Brock.

Mrs. Brock is survived by her daughters, Chrystal Brock (Ken) of Commerce and Rebecca Appleby (Melvin) of Commerce; son, Jason Brock (Tina) of Royston; brother, Chris Bowen of Nicholson; sisters, Shelia Patrick of Danielsville and Joy Carter of Gainesville; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Friday, January 27 at 3 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with rev. Derick Anglin officiating with the interment following at Howington Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-3 PM on Friday prior to the service.
