Michael “Tim” Beard

Michael “Tim” Beard, 62, of Buford, GA passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Gaylon and Ernestine Beard; and brother, Tony Beard. Tim is survived by his sister, Gayle and David Gower of Buford; brother, Robin and Katie Keneipp Beard of Buford; sister-in-law, Lynn Beard; aunt, Patricia Beard Adams; nephews and niece, Chris (Cindy) Beard, Chad (Abbey) Beard, Matt Gower, Adam (Megan) Gower; Katie (Ryan) Potts; great nephews and nieces, Ashton (Nick) Thomas, Alexis (Cameron) Schofield, US Navy Nathan Harmon, Ryan Beard, McKinley Beard, Christian Gower, Hayden Gower, Kaleb Gower, Kohen Gower, Annabelle Potts, Savannah Thomas, and Bash Schofield. Many loving cousins also survive. Tim was born August 5, 1960 in Buford, GA and was a 1978 graduate of Buford High School. He was a member of Piney Grove United Methodist Church in Flowery Branch, GA. He worked as a meat cutter at Duncan’s Grocery, and also worked as a waiter for Ribeye Restaurant. He was a graduate of John Casablanca Modeling School. Tim was always ready to help his family. He will be missed by his loved ones. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, January 29, 2023 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford with Pastor Allen Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the service hour on Sunday, January 29, 2023.
