De Shun was born in Gainesville, GA to Chasity Houston and Anthony Tate. He was a graduate of Gainesville High School. Upon graduation, he pursued a rap career which would bless the world with his many talents and gift. He was baptized at Cross Plains Baptist Church and received the Lord Jesus Christ into his life.
De Shun is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Izealia Langston Cheeks; maternal grandfather Fred Stringer and Curtis Cheeks. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother and grandfather: Lenora L. Hall and Harold Tate.
De Shun is survived by his mother Chasity Houston; father Anthony Tate; maternal grandparents: Heneritta (David) Cummings; Siblings: Shenae Rucker, Kenneth Stephens, Octavia Rucker, Daiqun Smith, Ke’Zora Tate, Ke’Mora Tate, Elijah Tate; aunts: Tonya(Jermaine) Hagins, Vivian Brake, Jessica Pickens; uncles: Robert (Tomika) Wills, Avery Hall; nieces: Maia Rucker, Kennedy Stephens; nephew: De’Marius Rucker and a host of great aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
The visitation will be held Monday, January 23rd between the hours of 12-6pm at Wimberly Funeral Home. The family will receive friends between the hours of 6-8pm. The Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, January 24th at Antioch Baptist Church at the hour of 1pm. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
