Nancy Evelyn Whaley

Nancy Evelyn Whaley, age 76 of Gainesville entered rest Tuesday January 17, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Evelyn was born in Gainesville to the late John Henry & Ruby Mae Cartee Griffin. She retired from Gwinnett Medical Center from environmental services. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Whaley; brothers, William Henry Griffin, Sanda Griffin & George Daniel griffin; sister, Margaret Fay Hart.

Left to cherish memories, brothers, Ronald Thomas Griffin & Ernest Tillman Griffin; a number of nieces, nephews & other relatives also survive.

To honor Evelyn's wishes she will be cremated and no services will be held.
