Rev. Harry Brogdon

Rev. Harry Brogdon, age 79, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his son, Joey Brogdon; parents, Thomas and Susie Pierce Brogdon; brothers, Arthur Martin and David Shepherd.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Martha Martin Brogdon, Sugar Hill, GA; sons, Keith Tracy Brogdon, Buford, GA, Thomas Jason Brogdon, Sugar Hill, GA; daughter-in-law, Rhonda B. Allen, Hoschton, GA; grandchildren, Jake Brogdon, Buford, GA, Courtney (Nick) Angle, Hoschton, GA; sisters-in-law, Mable Martin Herrington, Buford, GA, Teresa Martin Shepherd, Dacula, GA, Diane Moore Martin, Sugar Hill, GA; brothers-in-law, Emory (Lucy) Martin, Blue Ridge, GA, Ricky Martin, Snellville, GA, Vick (Carol) Martin, Suwanee, GA; great-grandchildren, Easton Angle, Hoschton, GA, Blaire Angle, Hoschton, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Rev. Brogdon was born on February 6, 1943 I Winder, GA.  He was a 1961 graduate of North Gwinnett High School, Suwanee, GA.  He was retired from Boyle Midway after 15 years of service and also retired from Gwinnett Window and Doors as a glass cutter after many years of service.  Rev. Brogdon was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Buford, GA and was an ordained minister.  He has pastored Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Apalachee Baptist Church in Auburn, GA and Shoal Creek Baptist Church, Buford, GA.  He enjoyed woodworking in making picture frames and other things he constructed.  A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2023 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA with Rev. Farrell Wilkins and Rev. Mark Bottoms officiating.  A Graveside Interment will follow at Sugar Hill Cemetery, Sugar Hill, GA with Rev. Ronnie Redd officiating.  The Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 and again from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday prior to the Service at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA.
