Gregory Michael Bremus, age 75, of Buford, GA passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael F. and Anna G. Bremus. Mr. Bremus is survived by his daughter, Heather Bremus of Buford, GA; son, Scott (Kathy) Bremus of Braselton, GA; grandchildren, Drew Bremus and Ansley Bremus; and former wife, Elaine Bremus. Mr. Bremus was born on March 9, 1947 in Patterson, NJ and graduated in 1964 from Saint Bonaventure High School, Patterson, NJ. He graduated in 1968 from William Patterson University, Patterson, NJ, with a Bachelor of Science degree. He was a retired Environmental Science high school teacher at Westfield High School with over 33 years of service. Mr. Bremus was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. and the U. S. Navy. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens with military honors. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until the time for the service at Flanigan Funeral Home.
