Linda Kay Berry

Obituary Date: Wednesday, January 11, 2023

Linda Kay Berry was born I Oskaloosa to Cecil and Mable (DeMoney) DeWitt.  She was the first of eight children.  She graduated from Oskaloosa school and attended a couple of years at a Christian college in Ottumwa.  Her work experience includes working for Quarton Nursing Home in Oskaloosa and with the State of Illinois Department of Revenue.  She married Bob Berry in Springfield.  While living in Springfield, Linda and Bob were very involved in the Baptist Church there and Boy’s and Girl’s clubs.  After retiring from the State job, she moved to Buford, GA.  She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, Bob Berry, siblings, Larry, Eugene, Jerry and Jim.  She is survived by siblings, Joyce (Marc) of Oskaloosa, Mary Clair of Oskaloosa and David (Julie) DeWitt of Norfolk, NE.  Mrs. Berry passed away on January 5, 2023.  A Memorial Service will be held at 9:00 a.m.on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Friendship Baptist Church, 3375 Church St., Duluth, GA 30096 with Rev. Ronald L. Bowers officiating.  Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA is in charge of arrangements.  The Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA.
