Maureen Sheehan Dorweiler

Maureen Sheehan Dorweiler, age 84, of Rio Rancho NM previously of Cornelia GA, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022.

Born on Nov 12, 1938, in London England, she was a daughter of the late E. E Sheehan and Dolly Sheehan. Mrs. Dorweiler traveled extensively with her family while her husband served in the Air Force and later with the FAA. She lived in eight different US states and two Countries. She loved camping, gardening and reading, but above all, she loved her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: William, Joan, Patricia, and John.

Survivors include her daughters Anne Sheehan Cruce (Phillip) of Homer GA. Michele Wickum of Rio Rancho NM, Karen Dorweiler Rio Rancho NM.

Grandchildren: N. Michael (Andrea) Cruce of Roswell GA. Steven (fiancé Tyler) Cruce, Maysville GA. Dr. Alex (Jamie Parks) Cruce, Jacksonville FL. Great Grandchildren: Holden Cruce, Caroline Cruce, Royce Cruce.

Maureen requested to be laid to rest next to her husband James at the National Cemetery in Canton Georgia.  A private ceremony will be held.
