Larry James Fortner, age 67 of Commerce, GA passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023.
Born on July 25, 1955 in Winder, GA, Mr. Fortner was the son of Mary Pursley and the late Ottis Fortner. He was a truck driver and was preceded in death by a son, Lee Fortner; a brother, Gary Fortner; and a sister, Joyce McNabb.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife of 46 years, Patty Hayes Fortner; sons, Troy (Diane) Fortner, Michael (Stephanie) Fortner, Terry Fortner, Brandon Fortner; daughters, Tanya Fortner, Mary Beth (Scott) Martin, Alisha (Bobby) Leroy; brother, Roger Fortner; sister, Louise Collins; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 pm Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chad Rising officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday 12 pm until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
