James Ricky Smith

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. James Ricky Smith, age 66 of Winder, Georgia who entered rest Saturday, December 31, 2022.  Mr. Smith was born in Athens, Georgia the son of the late Raymond and Virginia Whitfield Smith and was a retired Machinist with Online Instrument Systems, Inc..  In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith is also preceded by two sisters, Rita Smith and Marie Brazzale, and a pet companion “Jack”.

Survivors include his wife, Marissa Villalobos Smith of Winder.  Daughter, Lisa Smith Wall of Jefferson.  Two grandchildren, Addyson, and Gentry Wall.  Sister, Sheila Rivera (Sam) of Bogart, and Companion Pet “Sam”.

In accordance with the wishes of Mr. Smith, his remains have been cremated.  A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the Jefferson Church, 267 Mahaffey Street, Jefferson, Georgia.
