Sarah Ann Hunt

Mrs. Sarah Ann Hunt, age 93 of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness.   

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Clyde Self and Reverend Bobby Brown will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.     

Mrs. Hunt was born October 20, 1929 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Paul Glass and Belle Martin Glass.  She was a homemaker and a member of Montgomery Memorial Baptist Church.  Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leon Hunt and her son-in-law, David Santaniello.    

Mrs. Hunt is survived by her children, Shirley Santaniello of Flowery Branch and Donald Leon Hunt of Gainesville, her grandchildren, LeAnne (Chad) Bell of Flowery Branch and Chris (Dawn) Hunt of Gainesville, her great-grandchildren, Hunter Bell, Hartley Bell,  Sydney Hunt, Ben Hunt, Haley Hunt and Cole Hunt and her sister, Polly Freeman of Oakwood.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
