Edna Walls Justice

Mrs. Edna Walls Justice, age 85 of Toccoa passed away January 2, 2023 at Pruitt Health in Toccoa.

She was born in Deep Creek, Habersham County, Georgia on December 16, 1937 to Dewey Walls and Lessie Turpen Walls.  Edna retired from Sangamo Electric Company in South Carolina where she (and Marjorie) was employed for 30 years. She lived the majority of her life in Toccoa, Georgia where she was loved by her family members and many friends. When she and her husband were young they loved to ride motorcycles, go camping and be outdoors.  They took many of their nieces and nephews on camping trips with them. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 Years, James Carnes Justice and an infant son.

She leaves behind her closest friend and sister-in-law, Marjorie J. Murdock who was also her caregiver. She was blessed to have one of her nieces, Cheri Griffin as one of her caregivers as well. She is also survived by three other sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, several nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date at the Boyd's Chapel Cemetery, Hiawassee, Georgia.

Interment will take place in the Justice family plot beside her husband.
