Rev. Gregory Marshall

Rev. Gregory Marshall, age 64, of Winston, GA passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Marshall and Mary Ware Harris.  Rev. Marshall is survived by his wife of thirty-one years, Deandre Davison Marshall; children, Radiance Marshall, D Marshall, Timothy Hansberry; sister, Sherry Milton of Baton Rouge, LA; niece, Cassandra (Rev. Lester Malveo, II) Malveo of Baton Rouge, LA; great-nephews, Lester Malveo and LeShaun Malveo both of Baton Rouge, LA.  Rev. Marshall was born on November 22, 1958 in New Orleans, LA and graduated in 1977 from McKinley High School in Baton Rouge, LA.  He was employed by UPS for 21 years and also employed by John Thornton Automotive, Lithia Springs, GA.  He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Douglasville, GA and former Assistant Pastor at Union Baptist Church, Buford, GA for five years.  A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Grace Presbyterian Church, 5000 Stewart Mill Rd., Douglasville, GA 30135, officiated by Pastor David Gilbert.  Rev. Marshall will lie in state at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the service time.  Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens, 581 Veterans Memorial Hwy., Mableton, GA 30126.
