Ras Joe Westbrooks Jr. was ushered into life on May 7, 1945 to the union of Ras Joe Westbrooks, Sr. and Rebecca JannieBell Westbrooks, of Lula, Georgia.
Ras attended both Lula Elementary School and Fair Street High School. He was a
member of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church, Lula, GA. He worked as a laborer, construction worker, and as a cook around the city of Lula and Gainesville, GA.
Ras leaves to cherish his many memories of his daughters, Mrs. Jeanette Denise Ridgeway and Ms. Melissa Ann Westbrooks, both of Monroe, GA; Ms. Joanna
Westbrooks, of Toccoa, GA; his grandchild, Miss Joanna Shanna Denise Westbrooks, of Toccoa, GA; his very devoted cousin, Ms. Margie Nell Moon, of Lula, GA; a host of relatives and friends.
The visitation will be held Saturday, December 31st at the hour of 11am at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Westbrooks' Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 31st 12noon at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church. Professional Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
