Rev. Gaddis was born on November 30, 1963 in Atlanta, GA. He was a 1981 graduate of Dacula High School. He was also retired from Georgia Tech Alumni Association as a Building Director after 30 years of service. He was also Pastor of Woods Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Gaddis moved to Franklin County in 2018 to live a life he long dreamed of being a farmer. Chris was known by everyone and never met a stranger. His family and cows were his life. He would literally give you the shirt off his back and he never could tell anyone “no” when asked to help do anything. He was a jack-of-all-trades, Master of None. Chris had a heart of gold. No words can begin to explain the hole left in the hearts of those that knew him. Chris was a man of God. He was an advisor of everything and confident with his works and words. Chris was guaranteed to be the life of a party and center of attention. He lived by “Laughter is the best medicine” even if it was at your expense. That made it even funnier to him. Though not very tall, Chris was larger than life and will be missed beyond measure. He is leaving behind massive shoes to fill and many of broken hearts, but also hearts and memories that will forever be, because of who and what he was, “The Man”. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 in the Chapel of Flannigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA with Rev. Jimmy Strickland and Rev. Kenny Williamson officiating.
