Mary Ruth McCollum, age 80 of Sautee Nacoochee, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022.
Ms. McCollum was born November 7, 1942, in Young Harris, GA to the late Paul and Oleta Daniels Plott. Mary Ruth was a former salesperson for Record Island Music Store.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Lavetta McCollum; cousins, Vivian Thomas, Wanda Trotter, Brenda Anderson; niece, Maria Chastain; nephew, Eddie Hix; great-nephew, Tyler Chastain.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, December 30, 2022 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis Taylor will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
