Gary Looney Thomas

Mr. Gary Looney Thomas, age 71 of Seneca, South Carolina and formerly of North Carolina passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022 at MUSC Kershaw Health Medical Center, Camden South Carolina.

A son of the late Leo Thomas and Treasia Burnette Thomas, he was born June 18, 1951 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived most of his life in West Cramerton, North Carolina.  He was employed with Pharr Yarns for a number of years and later with Gaston County.  He was of the Pentecostal faith.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, William Paul Thomas, Billy Thomas, Jerry Thomas, Richey Thomas, Maggie Thomas and Judy Thomason.

Survivors include a brother, James Thomas of Dallas, North Carolina; sisters, Gail Lecroy of Anderson, South Carolina and Cathey Thomason of Seneca, South Carolina; a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Thursday, December 29, 2022, 11 o’clock a.m. at Allen’s United Methodist Church with The Reverend Don Scott officiating.  Nephews will serve as pallbearers, Rodney Thomas, Tim Thomas, Brandon Thomason and Christopher Thomason.

Interment will follow in the Allen’s United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Gary Thomas.
