Barry Waters

Barry Waters, age 79, of Dacula, GA passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.  He is survived by his wife of fifteen years, Mary Harrison Waters of Dacula; daughters, Annie Katherine (Robby ) Paulk of Folkston, GA and Karen Ann (Steven) Stewart of Cleves, OH; sons, Charles Michael (Tonya G) Harrison of Lavonia, GA and Joel Ray (Cathy) Harrison of Sugar Hill, GA; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Gale Waters Moody of Chattahoochee Hills, GA; brother, David T. Waters of Marietta, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Waters was born on July 21, 1943 in Canada. He graduated from Northside High School in Atlanta, and he attended DeVry College. Mr. Waters retired as a Soil Technician from S&ME Inc. He was a member of Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church, where he served as a Stephen Minister, and was a member of the Seekers Sunday School Class. His other interests include his plants. A Memorial Service will be held at Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church 0n December 27, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jason Mincey officiating. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. until the service hour.   Those desiring to may make a donation to Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church in memory of Barry Waters.
