James Michael “Train” Clark

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of James Michael “Train” Clark, age 54 of Carlton, Georgia who entered rest Wednesday, December 21, 2022.  Mr. Clark was born in Athens, Georgia a son of the late Bobby R. Clark and Evelyn Mathis Clark Lilly of Turtletown, Tennessee.  Mr. Clark was a Controller for Gold Kist Poultry for thirty years and was a Harley Davidson Enthusiast. 

Survivors in addition to his mother is a son, Kaleb Clark of Homer, step - son Cory Ballenger of Jefferson.  Sister, Jennie Wilbanks (Brandon) of Commerce, brother, Brian Keith Clark (Jennifer) of Jefferson.  Two step grandchildren also survive. 

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 23, 2022, from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Eric Shelton officiating with burial to follow in Oconee Baptist Church Cemetery.  Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Ethan, Seth, and Brandon Wilbanks.  Trent Ayers, Brian Clark, and Jeff Lance.  The family will receive friends 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Evans Funeral Home.
