Connie Victoria Allds

Connie Victoria Allds was born to Lillie Pearl Johnson and Weldon Andrew Seay on July 25, 1946.  She passed away on December 19, 2022, at hospice in Gainesville, GA, surrounded by loved ones.

Connie was a talker.  She had a heart for people, and she loved the Lord.  She had endured many hardships in her life—abusive relationships, alcoholism, homelessness—and she used these obstacles that Cod helped her through to preach to and inspire those she met, and anyone she did meet wasn’t a stranger for long.

Connie had an outreach ministry at local nursing homes.  She would visit with and sing to the residents.  Connie was selfless in giving and helping people.  In fact, the last thing she did before going to the hospital with chest pains was to help a disabled neighbor hang a Christmas wreath that she had made.

Connie is survived by her brothers, Richard and Chris Seay; her son, Andrew McCord; daughters, Sandy Williamson and Tina Pruitt; numerous extended family members, and more friends than you can shake a stick at.

As a woman of faith, Connie wanted to have a celebration of the immortality promised to all by Jesus.  She would love to be remembered with funny or inspiring stories celebrating her life.  Services will be held at Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, GA on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home.
