Mr. Charles Lee King, age 75, of Jefferson passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. King was born in York, SC to the late, Willie and Eulene Morris King. Mr. King was a carpenter and a US Army veteran in the Vietnam era. In addition to his parents, Mr. King was also preceded in death by his brother, Dennis King.
Mr. King is survived by his wife, Sarah Frances Veal King of Jefferson; daughter, Sara Bryson (Kenneth) of Maysville; son, Jimmy King (Jennifer) of Carnesville; sisters, Elizabeth Veal (Roger) of Maysville, Wanda Marlowe of Maysville, and Dianne Freeman of Hartwell.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 10th at 2 PM from the chapel of Little-ward Funeral Home with Rev. Bo Whistnant officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 12-2 PM.
