Wendell "Buck" Patrick

Mr. Wendell "Buck" Patrick, age 52, of Dahlonega passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022. He was born on July 26, 1970 in Gary, Indiana to the late Jack Patrick and the late Mary Sowder Patrick. Everyone who ever knew Buck knew that he would go out of his way to help anyone. He will forever be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Joe Rich.

He is survived by his children, Watonna Patrick of Dahlonega and Tyler Gibson of Glendale, AZ; siblings Karen (Chris) Marabel of Umatilla, FL, Sherri (Chuck) Hiott of Sorrento, FL, Girard Patrick of Lady Lake, FL, Sheila (Ray) Zuk of Fruitland Park, FL, Mike (Holly) Patrick of Danville, FL, and Wendy (Mark) Hynes of Littleton, CO; stepfather Andrew Jones of Dahlonega and Godparents Kathy and "Junior" Stover of Dahlonega. Numerous friends and other relatives also survive. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Steven Mulkey officiating. Interment will follow in the cemetery of Nimblewill Baptist Church with words of comfot being brought by Blake Grizzle. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 PM until the service hour.
