Marvin Louis Broom

Mr. Marvin Louis Broom, age 65 of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at his residence following the results of a fall.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, December 4, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Grady White will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Broom was born August 2, 1957 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late J. C. Broom and Betty Sue Loden Broom.  He was employed with Milliken Mill as a machinist until he became disabled and was a member of East View Baptist Church.  Marvin loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandkids. 

Mr. Broom is survived by his children, Alisha & Joey Gamble of Jefferson and Cathy & Aaron Patton of Maysville, his grandchildren, Michael Gamble, Stephen Howard, Brittanie Gamble, Andrew Patton, J. T. Gamble and Chevy Patton, his sister, Marsha Sutton of Danielsville, Georgia and his sister & brother-in-law, Pam & Larry Holland of Lula.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
