Ernie Boetz

Ernie  Boetz, 87 of Gainesville passed away Monday November 28, 2022, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Gainesville Campus.

He was born in New York City, New York and was preceded in death by his wife, Janice.

Survivors include his two sons and daughter-in-law, Ernie, Rob and Claire.

Ernie served his country in the United States Navy and attended Embry Riddle Flight School in Miami, Florida to complete his flight training.  Ernie flew with Eastern Airlines for 28 years and was a member of various clubs and civic organizations and was a friend to all who knew him.  Gainesville is a great place to live and bring up a family.

A celebration of life service will be held at Chattahoochee Country Club, at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2023.
