Kenneth Underwood

Mr. Kenneth Underwood, age 67, of Toccoa, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 26, 2022.

Mr. Underwood was born in Frostproof, Florida on December 30, 1954 and is preceded in death by his father, Oscar V. Underwood; brother, John Underwood; and sister, Elaine Kolpak. He retired from US Foods in 2019 after 40 years as a sales representative.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Barbara Underwood; daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Taylor Hall and Ashley and Jason Weibel; grandchildren, Cameron Hall, Brody Hall, Lukas Weibel, and Kasper Weibel; brother and sister-in-law, Lamar and Sue Underwood; brother, Darron Underwood; and mother, Vivian Underwood.

Ken was an avid traveler and particularly enjoyed spending time in our country’s national parks. He was a dedicated husband, father, and Papa and cherished spending time with his family. Whether it was fishing, kayaking, hunting for shark teeth or just reading a book in the sand, Ken was drawn to the water. Always up for an adventure, everyone that spent time with him has an exciting story to share - just ask!

Memorial services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Sunday, December 11, 2022 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.  A livestream of the service can be viewed at https://vimeo.com/event/2653636. The family will greet friends following the service with light refreshments offered.
