Kim Andrews Couch

Kim Andrews Couch, age 60, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022. 

Born on August 31, 1962, in Toccoa, she was the daughter of Pat Andrews of Baldwin and the late Edwin Andrews. Kim worked with Standard Telephone, Community Bank & Trust, and Edward Jones. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing crafts, working in the garden, and spending time with her cats. She was a member of Level Grove Baptist Church. 

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Tony Shirley and her second husband, Eddie Couch. 

In addition to her mother, survivors include daughter, Bridget Shirley of Mt. Airy; son, Andrew Shirley of Mt. Airy; granddaughter, Brianna Ivester; brother and sister-in-law, Jim Andrews (Chrissy) of Mt, Airy; and special caregivers, Marsha Rakes and Stephen Allen. 

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm on Monday, November 28, 2022, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Dr. Brian James officiating. Interment will follow in Level Grove Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until the service hour on Monday, at the funeral home.
