Richard Anthony “Tony” Massey, age 49 of Gillsville, GA passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022.
Born on Sept. 12, 1973 in Commerce, GA, Mr. Massey was the son of Billy Ray and Barbara Hopper Massey. He was a truck driver with D.A. McCoy Trucking.
Survivors include his spouse, Angelia Christine “Christy” Moore; daughters, Amanda Massey, Stacey Massey, Katie Massey, Cali-Ann Massey; step-son, Liam VanGoosen; sister, Charlotte Holland; brother, Jason Massey; grandchildren, Addy and Luna; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 3 pm Sunday, Nov. 27, 2022 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cole Parker and Rev. Winfred Bingham officiating. Burial will following Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday 1 pm until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
