Marjorie Geraldine Booth died on November 22, 2022 at the age of 90. She is survived by her loving husband, Carl D. Booth, Sr., her sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Deidre Booth, and Robin D. Booth, Wayne and Diane Booth, her grandchildren; Matthew and Carmen Booth, Haley Booth, Abigail Booth, Leah and Nicholas Harris, and her great-grandson, Owen Nicholas Harris. She retired from Gwinnett County Public School System where she worked as a School Nutritional Technician at North Gwinnett High School. Geraldine was a warm hearted and loving woman of faith, who enjoyed worshipping at Friendship Baptist Church. She was an avid baker who enjoyed baking cakes for family, friends and neighbors. Everyone was welcome in her home and kitchen where she would offer all types of sweet treats to go with the conversation. She was born in Briscoe, North Carolina and was the youngest of 7 children. She and Carl were married in 1955 and moved to Chicago, Illinois where they created a loving home for their three boys. The family moved to Buford, Georgia in 1974 and have enjoyed the friendliness of neighbors and friends.
The family and friends will gather for a graveside service which will be held at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens on November 25th, 2022 at 1:00 pm which will be officiated by Reverend/Dr. Robin D. Booth.
