Barbara Higgins

Miss Barbara Higgins, 74, of Buford, GA passed away Friday, November 11, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Choice and Newell Roebuck Higgins; sister, Sue Higgins Corbin; and brother-in-law, Randall Corbin. Miss Higgins is survived by her sister, Elise (Ottis) Bennett; nieces, Patti Bennett and Cyndi Corbin; nephew, Steve Bennett, all of Buford, GA; great niece, Edie (Zach) Winkle; great nephews, James Matthew Bennett and Elijah Lee; and great great niece, Claira Bella Bennett. Several cousins also survive. Miss Higgins was born December 12, 1947 in Sugar Hill, GA and was a 1965 graduate of Buford High School. She then attended Lanier Technical College, and was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church in Oakwood, GA. A Graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 15, 2022 in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Buford with Rev. Brian Evans and Rev. Danny Newbern officiating. The family will receive friends at Flanigan Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 1:30 PM on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.
