Royce Keith Duncan, age 89, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Lovie and Mamie Bennett Duncan; brother, Troy “Punk” Duncan; sisters, Ruth Duncan Harrison and Myrtle Duncan Johns. Mr. Duncan is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Charlotte Cleghorn Duncan of Sugar Hill; children, Anthony and Leanne Duncan of Flowery Branch, GA, Anita and Rodney Thornton of Buford, GA, John and Catrina Duncan of Oakwood, GA, Cerita and Keith Adams of Buford; three grandchildren, Blake (Kathryn) Duncan, Keith (Ashley) Duncan, Raquel Adams Day and husband, Cameron; six great grandchildren, Josiah Duncan, Holland Duncan, Kaydyn Duncan, Kambry Duncan, Dennis Keith Duncan, Jr, Elizabeth Jean Day; brother, Allen Ray Duncan of Buford; sister, Daisy Duncan O’Kelley of Buford; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Duncan was born on August 22, 1933 in Buford, GA. He received his education at Sugar Hill School, and was a veteran of the U S Air Force. Mr. Duncan was a Union Carpenter in Atlanta, GA for thirty-three years before retiring, and he enjoyed piddling in his workshop. He was a member of Carpenter Local 225 and a member of Old Suwanee Baptist Church in Buford. For more than twenty-five years, Royce and Charlotte were avid campers. Royce really enjoyed traveling and meeting friends. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Ferguson officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12 and again on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until time for the service at 2:00 p.m.
