Theresa Lynn Jones Pilgrim

 Mrs. Theresa Lynn Jones Pilgrim, age 60 of New Holland, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Braselton, following a brief illness.        

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Sam Parsons will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.     

Mrs. Pilgrim was born August 3, 1962 in Cicero, Illinois to the late Jerry Jones and Inez Sprouse Howington.  She retired from Atlanta Journal Constitution and was a member of New Holland Baptist Church.  Theresa was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter, Ashlyn Gooch.           

Mrs. Pilgrim is survived by her husband, Robert Pilgrim of New Holland, her daughters, Ashleigh Pilgrim and Christy Pilgrim, both of New Holland, her son-in-law, Adam Gooch of New Holland and her grandchildren, Trevor Smith, Amy Smith and Aubree Gooch.
