James Roy Evans

Mr. James Roy Evans, age 61, of Danielsville, GA died Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at his residence.  Mr. Evans was born in Commerce to the late DT and Vernell Beck Evans.  He was a logger.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Evans was preceded in death by a son, Richard Nash.

Mr. Evans is survived by his wife, Loranne Evans; daughters, Tiffany Evans (Thomas Large) of Danielsville and Sara Bowers of Danielsville; sons, Jeffery Evans of Bogart, Josh Evans of Danielsville, Chris Evans of Rowan, NC and Adam Ray Evans of Danielsville; sisters, Janet Evans of Jefferson and Shirley David of Maysville; brothers, Leon Evans of Athens, Frankie Evans of Jefferson and Troy Evans of Jack, AL; sister-in-law, Janet Evans of Danielsville; brother-in-law, Bobby Evans of Commerce; and fifteen grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM, Saturday, November 12 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Douglas Duncan officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5 to 7 PM.
