Linda Sue Phillips

Linda Sue Phillips, age 69 of Clermont entered heaven Monday November 7, 2022 at New Horizon Lanier Park with her family by her side.

Linda was born September 21, 1953 in Newburgh, NY to the late Robert & Elizabeth Stotesburry Phillips. She earned an Associate's degree from Syracuse & later retired from Food Service Management having last served at Ingles in Clarkesville. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Phillips & Gary Phillips. She cherished her grandchildren with all her heart. They were her favorite part of life & she will be greatly missed by her family & friends.

Left to cherish precious memories, daughter, Beth (Joseph) McClain; son, Keith Phillips; grandchildren, Gracie, Savannah & Katie Beth; brother, Tommy Phillips; sisters, Nancy (Bill) Gottermier & Kathy Phillips. A number of nieces, nephews & other family members also survive.

Visitation to celebrate Linda's life will be held 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. & again from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday November 10, 2022 at Ward's Funeral Home in Gainesville.

The family wants to express their thankfulness to Dr. Sun, Dr. Geary Bush, New Horizon Lanier Park & Hospice of Northeast Georgia for the excellent care they gave to Linda.
