Mrs. Emelia G. Simental, 59, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at St. Michael Catholic Church. Father Gerardo Ceballos will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Monday, November 7, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Born February 28, 1963, she was the daughter of Elena Hernandez Deras and the late Roque Gaucin Reveles.  She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith.

Mrs. Simental was preceded in death by her father, Roque Gaucin; son, Juan Carlos Simental and brother, Manuel Gaucin Hernandez.

Mrs. Simental is survived by her husband, Carlos Simental Ramirez of Gainesville; daughters, Sonia Simental, Claudia Simental both of Gainesville; sons, Alejandro Simental, Juan Carlos Simental, Angel de Jesus Simental all of Gainesville; mother, Elena Hernandez of Durango, Mexico; brothers, Miguel Angel Gaucin of Gainesville, Roque Gaucin Hernandez of NC; sister, Sofia Gaucin Hernandez of Durango, Mexico; 15 grandchildren and a number of other loving relatives.
