Mr. Kippes was born August 31, 1935 to the late William & Lorraine Kippes in Topeka, Kansas. He was a retired special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation Department of Justice and a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
Cruising and traveling with his wife, being involved with his two daughters as they grew up, and later playing with his grandsons as if he was a kid too, is what Kip was all about. His sense of humor and ability to make people smile and laugh was a true gift from God. Kip had an incredibly creative mind, and found pleasure staying busy making toys for grandchildren, designing silly keepsakes for family & friends, and creating beautiful wood carvings. He was truly a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend; a very loyal, honest, and faithful man.
Mr. Kippes is survived by his wife, Nancy Kippes; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Drew Loften; daughter and son-in-law, Sally and Dan Riley; grandchildren Alex Loften and wife Bre, Derek Loften and wife Abbey, and Max Nicholson; 3 brothers; 4 sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
