Earnest Junior Vandiver

Mr. Earnest Junior Vandiver, age 80 of Clermont, Georgia, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the funeral home with interment to follow at Wauka Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Shane Seabolt will officiate.

Mr. Vandiver was born December 17, 1941 in Union County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Earnest Vandiver, Sr. and Lassie Clark Vandiver.

Earnest graduated from Union County High School and was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Army. He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and he loved his family.

Earnest is survived by his loving wife, Frances (Jones) Vandiver; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Thomas Swearengin; grandson, Aidan Wilson; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Dorothy Vandiver; sisters, LeAnne England and Reva Sue Dispayne; grandchildren Lance Swearengin, Tonya Aubrey and many other family and friends also survive.
