Juanita Winter Stephens

Juanita Winter Stephens, age 92, of Buford, GA, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Stephens; son, Alexander Stephens; daughter, Angela LeBlanc; parents, Jesse and Delia Wages Winter; brother John Curtis Winter; sisters, Delora Beard and Betty Jo Henderson.  Mrs. Stephens is survived by her children, Barry Anthony (Liz) Stephens of Braselton, GA, Cissy (Roy) Bauders of Grayson, GA, Dawn (Chuck) Turlington of Douglasville, GA and Robin (Don) Bailey of Newnan, GA; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Joyce Stephens Davis of Buford, GA; nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mrs. Stephens was born on May 6, 1930 in Lawrenceville, GA, and graduated from Lawrenceville High School.  She was retired from Georgia Training and Development Center as a secretary.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Buford and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home officiated by Alex Stephens.  Inurnment will follow the service at Old Suwanee Baptist Church Cemetery, Buford, GA.  The family will receive friends on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home and on Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 12:00 noon until time for the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association https://www.alz.org/ in memory of Juanita Stephens.
