David Dwight Oliver, 79 of Lula passed away Friday November 4, 2022, at his home following a brief illness.
A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. Oliver was the son of the late Garnet and Bessie Ward Oliver. He was the owner of Oliver Electric and was a member of Clemons Chapel United Methodist Church. Mr. Oliver loved farming, his daughters and grandchildren. He will be missed by all who loved him.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Patricia Oliver, daughters, LuRee Chapman (Ty), ReNee Conley (Jeff), grandchildren, Seth Chapman (Brooke), Jacob Conley, Emma Conley, Josh Chapman (Ansley), brother, Doug Oliver (Judy), sister-in-law, Bennie Clark (Pud). A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday November 8, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Jeremy Noffsinger and Nathan Deal will officiate. Interment will follow in the Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday November 7 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions please be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
