Domenick "Nick" Ray Gibbs, age 34 passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 27, 2022 in Dahlonega, GA where he was currently residing. Nick was born July 18, 1988 to Rissy Jarrell Gibbs and the late Kurt Gibbs.
In addition to his father, Nick is preceded in death by his Papa Ray Jarrell of Cochran, and grandparents Hal and Mecca Gibbs of Eastman, Georgia.
He is survived by his loving fiancé, Nikki Clark; mother Carissa Jarrell Gibbs; sisters, Mary Beth (Steven) Malcom, Brooke (Tony) Pittman; mawmaw Mary Ann Jarrell; as well as several nieces and nephews. Last but not least, his favorite great aunt Martha Mills who loved him dearly and who he treasured.
Nick was the oldest of the three children. He loved the outdoors. Some of his favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing on the river, and exploring the woods. He was also a handy man and could fix anything with his hands. His passion to cook always kept him and his friends fed. Nick loved children and was always able to entertain little ones. He was a big kid himself at heart.
It was Nick's wish to be cremated. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
